I read it as better for canon, they also rated in holiday guide as better kit was in mega zoom, sony maybe d, but in image quality, zoom, movie mode, features, outdoor, indoor shots which one would you buy, this is a xmas gift for high school senior who loves to shoot pictures, did some photography classes only thing that keeos me away fromd slr is time for her to use learn it, not sure which to buy, thanks fujifilm smartmedia card.
